Are Eco-paintsas durable as normal paint?

In most cases 'Plant-based' paints are just as durable as 'Synthetic' paints, and in some cases are longer-lasting. They will not peel or blister. Most plant-based and mineral-based wall-paints are not recommended for high traffic areas, such as hospitals, or surfaces requiring water-repellancy and/or high abrasion resistance. This is because they do not form an impermeable coating on the wall, and will not stand up to harsh chemical cleaners.
All low-VOC acrylic paints we recommend are fully washable and meet the same standards as conventional acrylics. Low-VOC gloss acrylic enamels do not fade, yellow, or chip as easily as conventional enamels. Most manufacturers provide 10-15 year guarantees for their products. Heat-reflective paints have even higher durability than normal paints, because they resist heat build-up; which is usually a major reason for film break-down.
